General Audition Notice – The Golden Apple Theatre

Artists will be required to prepare a contemporary monologue and an up-tempo or ballad song of no longer than 10 minutes total. An accompanist will be provided.

Eligibility:
The auditions will be open to artists who are either: a member of Equity in good standing, preferably residing in or from the province of Saskatchewan; or a non-member, preferably residing in or from the province of Saskatchewan, who is in the process of becoming a professional theatre artist.

How to Register for an audition:
Eligible artists may register for an audition spot by contacting Jodi at 527-2732 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CST or by e-mail at goldenappletheatre@gmail.com.

Equity member number (if applicable)
Contact information (telephone and e-mail)

Registration by phone will be confirmed by phone or e-mail, and electronic submissions will be confirmed by e-mail. Audition spots are available on a first come, first served basis, subject to eligibility. Please note that Equity and Equity Apprentice performers will be seen first.

Photo and Resume:
If possible, please submit a photo and resume by e-mail at goldenappletheatre@gmail.com when registering for an audition, but also please bring a hardcopy with you to the audition.

Saskatoon Actors: Please bring two (2) hard copies of your photo and resume with you to the audition as the artistic staff at Persephone will be sitting in as well.

If cast in a production, artists will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.

If you’re eligible to audition but not able to make one of the above noted dates and times, or live out of province, please send your information regardless. We’ll put you in our database and have you on file for future auditions and consideration.

Please Note: the 2010-2011 Golden Apple Season has not yet been announced.
